Vascular Access Education
Vascular Access Education and Training by Vascular Wellness® is a comprehensive and unique program that empowers nurses and advances healthcare and, unlike others, offers LIVE STICKS & LIVE PRECEPTING by nurse clinicians. Our Vascular Access Education and Training courses are taught by practicing, Vascular Access Board Certified (VA-BC) nurse clinician specialists and experts (not just educators) who regularly place vascular access devices in patients, and train or precept nurses. This provides students with an exceptional educational experience. The courses incorporate best practices, national guidelines, and practical experience across various healthcare settings. Our participants get classroom and hands-on experience and upon course certification, are able to apply and use their training. We bring our training to you and customize it to your healthcare setting, equipment, and supplies. Hiring Vascular Wellness for your education and training needs is the smart and safe choice.
Empowering Nurses
and Advancing Healthcare is our vision & passion
Vascular Access Nurse Education
Vascular Access Nurse Education courses cover a broad range of topics and are available from and provided by our practicing Vascular Access nurse clinicians. Our Education includes training and through our course offerings, you will build your knowledge and clinical skills. Continuing education classes are available live, either virtually or on-site. We bring training straight to the client – to the specific healthcare setting and location.
Vascular Access Nurse Education includes a variety of content, including classroom, simulation, and hands-on opportunities. Unlike other companies who provide education courses taught by trainers rather than practicing nurse clinicians, and who require you to travel to them for classroom-only settings, Vascular Wellness delivers best of breed education and training that can be delivered at your facility and customized to incorporate your specific equipment, supplies, policies, and participant skill levels. Courses include didactic, simulation, and/or mannequin-based education and training in a classroom setting and can incorporate live stick precepting and/or competency, as applicable.
We provide pre and post skills testing, course certification and the potential opportunity for obtaining Vascular Wellness competency. These practical skills translate to an immediate benefit for healthcare settings and facilities, and improved outcomes for patients.
Empowering nurses through our unique education and training program is a significant component of our vision of Advancing Healthcare.
