Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

Our Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners, including Mobile X-ray and Imaging, Pharmaceutical, Diagnostic Laboratory, Hospice and At-Home, and Medical Equipment and Supplies, enables us to collectively deliver critical healthcare services to patients at the bedside at their location, often same day.  We coordinate with our Healthcare Partners to offer a seamless and integrated experience for our patients and clients, and further, as a  complementary addition to other medical providers and teams.  No single company is best in class in all segments and our partners, individually and collectively, perform at the highest levels in their respective niches, and provide superior solutions for clients and patients.

MOBILE X-RAY AND IMAGING HEALTHCARE PARTNERS

Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

We work with the leading Mobile X-Ray and Imaging Healthcare Partners in our service areas, and help coordinate vascular access services with imaging as needed. Unlike other Vascular Access Companies that only provide Standard Lines (PIVs, Midlines, and PICCs), we place unmatched and innovative advanced lines such as Internal Jugulars, Mid-Thigh Femorals, Axillaries, Tunneled Central Lines, and Dialysis Catheters (Acute/Temp Vas-Caths and Tunneled Perm Caths). As such and in general, we rely on imaging for confirmation of tip placement when inserting PICCs for which ECG tip confirmation technology is not adequate, or for advanced lines. In these situations, coordination is essential for timely approval of the vascular access line or catheter so that critical therapy can begin promptly.  As a side, we have found that certain companies offering both vascular access and imaging may avoid or not offer ECG tip confirmation technology as it is a specialized skillset that raises labor costs or makes labor hard to find when needed, increases supply costs, and removes the need for imaging services, all impacting the vendor.  ECG tip confirmation technology is patient centric care at lower overall cost and should be used when clinically appropriate.

The patient’s medication does not get delayed. Nurses do not have to call everywhere in the hospital to find somebody to put an IV in… no delay in care. Vascular Wellness has been a blessing to our unit and takes a lot of stress and worries off nurses.

PHARMACEUTICAL HEALTHCARE PARTNERS

Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

We work with the finest Pharmaceutical Healthcare Partners in our service areas as the delivery of critical therapy often depends on a confirmed vascular access line or catheter. We coordinate with our pharmaceutical partners to minimize or eliminate delays between the receipt of the drug prescription and the ability to deliver such medication to the patient. This can be critical as some medications require advanced preparation such as the irreversible decision to bring the medication to room temperature hours before the infusion and thus, if not infused, would need to be discarded. This involves not only a working line but also the presence of an infusion nurse who is at the location and willing and able to use the line to start treatment. We ensure that the patient and infusion nurse understand the line that was placed and associated care and maintenance to help ensure the line’s continued operation and performance.

Vascular Wellness is vital when we cannot gain access for important medication or collect labs that are vital. Always a good day when Vascular Wellness shows up.

DIAGNOSTIC LABORATORY PARTNERS

Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

Our work with Diagnostic Laboratory Partners tends to be more on an as-needed basis or through the convenience of our presence on-site.  If not already on-site, due to the cost of travel, another option would generally be preferrable for the client.  When we are on-site, we can access the line to perform blood draws as a convenience added service. While this is not our core function on the medical team, we do this to help our patients and clients and enable our clients to focus on other activities especially during hectic times.

HOSPICE AND AT-HOME HEALTHCARE PARTNERS

Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

Hospice and At-Home Healthcare Partners require us to provide additional focus and importance on comprehensive, empathetic, and compassionate care at the bedside, to help provide comfort for the patient and the patient’s family and friends. Comfort is an essential factor we consider and take into account when recommending the clinically appropriate vascular access device. And even though predictions of life expectancy may be short, we still perform a comprehensive medical review to make sure the patient and medical team understand the vascular access device options. This is extremely important as some devices are more invasive than others, and this must be a consideration no matter the benefit. Serving patients at a hospice or at their home is not new to us, and we perform as a valuable, experienced, and trained provider on holistic care, bring high quality care to patients wherever they are most comfortable to extend and add to that comfort as much as possible.

MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES HEALTHCARE PARTNERS

Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

As the leading provider of innovative Vascular Access Services, we attract Medical Equipment and Supplies Healthcare Partners who are looking to test products and gain valuable feedback. With our extensive practice, we can quickly incorporate a beta test into our operations and provide essential feedback over an extremely diverse patient population, or a very targeted patient population depending on the partner’s needs. A prompt and detailed evaluation is highly important and what we can provide, and we are happy to do our part to Advance Healthcare and Empower Nurses. As such, we have tested new vascular access devices and catheters, along with ancillary equipment and supplies such as devices to help safely secure the vascular access device. From our understanding, we are generally in the first group of targeted providers for any applicable vascular access device testing which can be, in part, driven by our unmatched advanced lines.

Your Vascular Access Solution:
Vascular Access for Healthcare Partners

Healthcare providers outsource vascular access services to high-quality nurse clinicians because it makes clinical and financial sense in many situations, even when the healthcare provider (such as a hospital) has the option to hire in-house resources. Vascular Access is a specialized and invasive medical procedure requiring a high level of skill, continuous trainings, and top supplies such as catheter kits with ECG tip confirmation technology, and expensive medical equipment such as ultrasound that can read and integrate with the ECG. The combination and integration of the clinician, the supplies, and the equipment naturally favor the decision to Outsource Vascular Access Services.
